Who We Are More Information
STARS provides the extra academic and personal support transfer, re-entry and readmitted students may need to benefit fully from their education at UCSC whether they are full-or part-time. STARS is here to assist students with their pre-admissions questions, transition concerns, academic support network, and post graduation planning. Students will find drop-in assistance from professional staff members and other resources at two convenient campus locations, the Academic Resources Center and Kresge College.
STARS at the ARCenter
STARS at the ARCenter offers transfer and re-entry students a broad range of personal and academic support services. The ARcenter is located along the McHenry Service Road between the music center and the McHenry Library.

STARS at Kresge
STARS at Kresge is a satellite of the main STARS program. Drop in Services are available at the Kresge Office. Information, advice, or support on a wide range of issues and resources available.

Veteran Students
The Veterans Education Team Support (VETS) Program provides mentoring and resources for
military affiliated students. VETS Peer mentors are available 24 hours a day to assist.

The Smith Renaissance Society serves the college dreams of independent students who are current or former foster youth, runaways, juvenile offenders, orphans, or homeless youths.
