Kresge 25: Successful Transfer to the Research University.

Kresge 25 provides small-scale learning communities that will guide you to refine your educational goals, gain support in navigating the transfer transition, prepare for increased academic expectations, develop essential relationships with faculty and staff, and identify areas for deepened engagement at UC Santa Cruz. Sections 1 & 2 are open to students in any major, and sections 3-6 are for students within specific disciplinary divisions:
  • Interdisciplinary cohort: Section 1 meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30PM-3:05PM, open to students from all majors.

  • Interdisciplinary cohort: Section 2 meets on Monday and Wednesday from 5:20PM-06:55PM, open to students from all majors.

  • Humanities cohort: Section 3 meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:50AM-11:25AM, open to students with a major in the Humanities division.

  • Social Science cohort: Section 4 meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:40AM-01:15PM, open to students with a major in the Social Science division.

  • Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) cohort: Section 5 meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:20PM-04:55PM, open to students with a major in the School of Engineering or the Physcial and Biological Sciences division.

  • Arts Cohort: Section 6 meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:20PM-06:55PM, open to students with a major in the Arts division.
