STARS helps UCSC to welcome students who are military veterans and invites them to participate in a wide variety of academic and personal support services and programs. A student veteran support coordinator, and a group of veteran peer mentors are available on a drop-in or by-appointment basis to assist with your transition to the campus and help you get started on your UCSC educational path.

The VETS Peer Mentor team provides successful students with experience in transitioning from the military to education. Student veterans should feel free to contact these resourceful student veteran leaders to find answers to your questions. The Student Veteran Peer Mentors are available in room 102 of the ARCenter or 24 hours by telephone, to contact the Veteran Resource Center call 831-459-1520, you can email the VETS Program @ vets@ucsc.edu.
