Academic Resource Center
Welcome to the ARCenter!
STARS at the ARCenter offers transfer and re-entry students a broad range of personal and academic support services. STARS staff members understand that transfer and re-entry students may have financial, personal, and family challenges that are quite different from the challenges faced by students coming directly from high school and many students consider STARS' as "homes away from home" while they're on campus.

Services include pre-admission and transition advising, orientations, academic seminars and study skills workshops, writing and research courses, peer mentor programs, tutorial services, drop-in assistance, social and cultural programs, scholarships, newsletters, study areas with computer workstations and wireless access. Students will also find information and referrals to campus and community resources and events.

Please feel free to contact us at any time with questions about your transition. We will be happy to provide you with information about the campus and/or make appropriate referrals. Students are our top priority. We are committed to providing personal assistance over the phone, and our open door policy ensures that we are available to offer support when students need it most. Please feel free to contact us at (831) 459-2552 for information, or just stop by between 9 and 5 weekdays.
